I arrived in the UAE to work at a University and live with my husband in Al Ain during August 2008. These stories reflect my learning, questions, achievements, failures and adventures with the sands, mountains, Professors, students, raging 4×4s and camels. Matters of Degrees of Arabian learning and heat.

Even though I am terrible about contacting you, I blame it partly on your incredible ability to make me feel like we’re in touch despite the fact that it is all on your end. Matt and I are both really happy to be able to keep up with you and your exciting new life!

I have ridden a one hump camel in the Sahara Desert and a two humped dromedary in the Gobi Desert.
Has anyone else got this record as it is harder to get than one camel and a 4×4?
Now looking for a three humped model: any ideas?
